Comr protects lawful expression while providing practical reporting, blocking, transparent review, and urgent safety escalation.
Last updated August 14, 2026
Effective date: August 13, 2026; clarified August 14, 2026 (version 2026-08-13)
Before public text is published
Comr applies a narrow automated screen to public posts, comments, profile text, and Com names, descriptions, and rules. It rejects high-confidence targeted violence, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate-content solicitation, and credential theft. It does not broadly score viewpoints, silently reduce distribution, or inspect private-message text. A rejected draft is not published; members can revise it or contact support if the screen made a mistake.
What members can report
Members can report public posts, comments, profiles, and Com pages for spam or scams, harassment or bullying, hate or discrimination, threats or violence, self-harm concerns, risks to a child or teen, unwanted sexual content, impersonation, privacy violations, illegal activity, or another concrete safety concern. Disagreement, lawful criticism, satire, and unpopular opinions are not violations by themselves.
A report privately preserves the item and necessary context for an authorized reviewer. It is not proof by itself. Actions require a documented decision under these rules or a valid legal obligation. Reports involving child safety or self-harm target review within one hour, threats within four hours, and other reports within 24 hours. These are operational targets, not emergency-response guarantees.
Direct messages
This release does not silently scan private messages or provide a message-content report action. Participants can block an account and leave the conversation. A future encrypted-message report may include only the messages a participant deliberately selects, with clear consent before that evidence is disclosed to Comr. Until that reviewed boundary ships, contact support with account names, dates, and non-message context rather than private message contents.
Com conversations
Com chats are server-readable and are not end-to-end encrypted. Members can report a Com page to Comr and can block abusive accounts. Individual Com messages remain locally governed by the owner and designated moderators, who may remove messages or manage membership under that Com's stated rules. Contact support for a safety issue the local controls do not resolve. Local decisions are not hidden platform-wide penalties.
No shadow bans
Comr does not secretly deboost, search-hide, or otherwise reduce distribution as a moderation penalty. If Comr removes public content or applies an account restriction, the affected member can see the recorded action and use the available appeal process. Product ranking may order content, but it is not used as undisclosed punishment.
No hidden reputation penalty
Comr does not build a viewpoint dossier or cross-context penalty from reports or local Com decisions. We retain the records needed to explain an action, support an appeal, satisfy security and legal duties, and enforce the stated retention schedule. Those records are not ranking signals.
Law, security, and emergencies
These rules do not prevent Comr from securing accounts and infrastructure, enforcing rate limits, removing malware, honoring intellectual-property procedures, or complying with valid legal process. Comr is not an emergency service. Contact local emergency services if someone is in immediate danger. Policy or appeal questions can be sent to comrsupport@provarion.ai; do not send passwords or private-message contents.
